Hello All! I'm set for Friday, July 29th with Dr. Kelly in TJ. My husband will be coming with me, but I wanted to know if I would have any fellow sleevers there also?

GA Girl...I'll be with Dr. Kelly on July 29th. My hubby is coming with me, so if you'll be there at that time you'll have both of us. And we're from GA, too.

I didn't know there was an option either. I think I may have confused Trish in my e-mail. I said that I wanted 2 days in the "recovery hotel" instead of just 1. She replied with "is recovery home that your talking about or upgrade to Lucerna Hotel?" I didn't know that the Lucerna was an upgrade. I'll be honest, I get most of my info from this site, and I don't remember anyone ever saying is was an upgrade to stay here. I asked her several questions about the differences in the two places and in her next email she didn't answer them. So I came here for more info. My husband will be going with me, I can't imagine being alone in a hospital in the states, let alone one in TJ!

Hi All! I have just sent my deposit to Dr Kelly in TJ for a surgery date of July 29th!!! I'm very excited about getting the healthy part of my life going. I have a question for those of you who used Dr. Kelly...did you stay at the Lucerna or at the recovery house? Trish just asked me which one I wanted and I wanted to get the "experienced opinions" before I decide. Things I'm interested in finding out are...Where are they? How far from the hospital are they? What is the price upgrade for the Lucerna? What type of house is the recovery house (i.e. a private condo type thing or actually somebody's house that you stay at)? What are your general impressions of the place you stayed? TIA for your help.

This was originally posted in another section but no one replied, so I'm hoping it will do better here...I've seen lots of posts for up to 1 year out, and some for 2 years out, but what about 3 or more years out? This is a lot of money to spend for it to only work for a couple years. What is the long term success?

I have decided on the sleeve with Dr Kelly. Now, I'm just waiting on my hubby to agree ! Can anyone give me and idea of how thing are 3 or more years out? I've seen plenty of posts that go up to 1 year and some for the 2 year mark, but what about LONG TERM? I don't want to spend all this money for something that will only work for a couple of years. I'm looking forward to hearing some great stories of long term success!

My question is a bit different...does anyone have any info on where I can go to check out Dr Kelly's past complication rate? From what I've read on this site, he hasn't had any, but my husband wants to make sure I've checked everywhere I could to check on his history. Thanks in advance.
