The 6mos will fly by!! I stated mt 6mos on 3/25 and I have surgery scheduled for 10/27!! I also have bcbs il, just make sure you get ALL their requirements and make sure to have them when you atte submitted. Good luck!!

I love Beer too! My Doc told me that the carbonation bubbles stretching your pouch is a bunch of balogny. It's the empty (and liquid) calories that is the issue. If you want to have Beer...HAVE BEER!!! Just be aware of what you are eating the rest of the day and make sure and count those suckers.

Im having my surgery there 10/27 with dr. reilly and they told me the same thing, once a month for a full year and then about 2xs/year after that. Hope this helps and best of luck to you!

Did you call insurance or dr?? The dr was supposed to call me and when I didn't hear from them I called insurance and they told me I was approved last wednesday!!

I have aetna for my primary and they debuted bc I don't have 2 years weight history. I'm having to use my secondary insurance for coverage.

Eyeonprize- I have been very selective on who knows about my surgery as well and I do not want my kids to know. I dont have a definitive answer as to why, I just don't.

I am 29 and in Katy, TX which is west of Houston. I'm going through True Results and they have handled everything for me. All I had to do was show up once a month for my visits. I went through a long stretch of 'last supper syndrome' and have gained about 6lbs!! But now, I'm back on track and currently waiting on approval (fingers crossed!!). Do you think that will delay my approval?? I should be having surgery in October if all goes well. My surgeon is Dr. Reilly. Good luck everyone!

Hello! I, too, and shooting for an October surgery date. I had my last weigh-in on Friday and they were supposed to submit my insurance for approval today BUT, they lost my denial letter for my primary...grrrr . So we have to wait 24-48 to get another one so they can submit to my secondary insurance (i have completed all the qualifications for the secondary, didn't meet my primary requirements). Did ever confirm this? My patient advocate never said anything about a change and they are submitting my ppw on monday. I'm so nervous now!

I was to not lose weight too so I'm guessing they will use my ending weight. The first couple of months I had last support syndrome (lol) so ive really been working hard to make better food choices (non processed, lots of fruit and veggies) and ive gained 4lbs!! My last dr visit was friday and they are submitting me on monday! Fingers crossed and good luck to you!
