  1. I think it would be fine. If you are feeling good then have a freakin margarita! Just count the calories. I had a glass of red wine on monday, im two weeks post op, and it did not hot me any faster than before I was banded. Have fun.
  2. Im two weeks post op and my hunger is definately back, but I'm hanging in there. Tomorrow I move to mushies so I'm diopter excited about that!

  4. Im two weeks post op and I have an incision right on my bra line. Ive worn a bra a couple of times but it irritates that incision. I go back to work on thursday so I'm gonna have to wear one.
  5. Im a stomach sleeper too. Its been about two weeks since surgery and I still can't do it. I have turned in my sleep twice and it woke me up. I can't wait till its comfortable for me to sleep on my stomach again.

  10. I was banded on 10/27. Im feeling so much better but my port site is still pretty sore. I have 5 incisions, 4 keyhole size and port incision is about 1 1/2 inch. I had to do two weeks of liquids pre op, one week thin liquids post op, one week of thick liquids and pureed food, one week of mashed food, then you can start working in solids. But docs have different requirements. The first week after surgery I was not hungry at all, now my appetite is back but I'm hanging in there.

  12. So happy for you! I did not have one piece of candy either but I did consider letting a piece of chocolate melt on my tounge lol (i was 4 says post op). My will power is getting harder now that I'm starting to feel close to normal...stay strong!
  13. You're lucky, I am 9 days post op and I have zero restriction plus my appetite has returned. I was fine until about two days ago and my hunger is getting worse by the day.
  14. Yup, im 9 days post op. well im still following my doc s orders but I did have a bite of my sons pizza. I was scared but I have zero restriction and I chewed it probably about 40 times lol. I won't have another bite but I'm fine. I still have one week left of mushies and I'm clear.to start working in solids.

  18. Hello everyone, I am 3 days post op and had to do 2wks liquids before surgery as well. I am not experiencing any hunger since surgery but I hear that everyone is different. I have started blogging about my pre and post op experience if you are intetested, check it out. Ive posted several easy recipes to break the monotony of drinking meals as well as things to help me through my days of bandster hell, as some might say...but I dont think its that's bad.   21. Hey october bandsters!!! I just had surgery on the 27th and thing s went great! I'm still in quite a bit of pain but that's what these great pain meds are for!!
