  1. Welcome to the board Hope you wont have to wait long to get approved!
  2. I have a quick question if anyone could help me out that would be awesome I have natural curly hair, for the most part it has always been on the coarse side and is dry and frizzy, it seems like since surgery it has gotten even dryer. I usually will put in some type of cream or gel in my hair and scrunch it and let it air dry, even when I put products in it after my hair has air dried it is still so dry and brittle looking, it looks like I didn't put anything in it, its driving me crazy! Can anyone recommend any good products that they think would help? I would really appreciate any help, thanks <3
  3. I didn't read this whole thread, but I will say I lost a lot of my boobs and my butt even though I never really had one lol hopefully once I get closer to goal my body will even out, but I think I'm cursed with a white girls booty Sent from my iPhone using VST
  4. That is a good thing to mention. That has been one of the things I have been having the hardest time with is staying positive. I think for a lot of us we have had negative thoughts about ourselves pre-op that its kind of hard to break post-op. I would also like to add DONT COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS! If you do you will drive yourself crazy lol. I would always compare myself to others who started at my weight, or others who had surgery the same day as me and worry myself because maybe they lost faster then me, everyone is different and everyones journey will be different.
  5. Lmao, I watched that one today! Of course when she was doing that her husband walked in from work.
  6. Wishing you the best of luck and a speedy recovery
  7. I took some a few months before surgery but ended up losing the paper! uGH
  8. Thats great you dropped another pant size! I finally broke my stall and am down 2 pounds, havent dropped a pant size in awhile though! I wasnt being as good with my eating as I should be, I was having white bread here and there, I cut it out completely, I've just been sticking to the low carb wraps, and wasa crackers if Im craving bread or crackers, Ive also cut back on my splenda use.
  9. Thank God you were at home and not out in public!
  10. I agree with Sramos, what is done is done and all you can do is live and learn from your mistakes. No one will be perfect on this journey, I know I havent! Wishing you the best of luck
  11. My surgeon always says at his seminars that after surgery you will become a "cheap date" because for most alcohol hits you quicker and it dont take much to catch a buzz lol
  12. Before surgery I would have one, then go months and months without a period, since surgery I have been having mine regular now, it might be a day or two off from the previous month, but it's always the last week of the month. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  13. Thanks for posting this, I found a place pretty close that carries out, I'll have to try it out!
  14. That's awesome, must have made you feel great! Keep up the great job Sent from my iPhone using VST
  15. Lol I know.. I always said Im not that bad for a fat chick... UGH
  16. Im the same way, I dont always see it when I look in the mirror, I can usually only see a difference when I put a before and current one side by side. Its funny though at my heaviest I knew I was big, but didnt realize until I saw a picture or lost weight how big I really was, weird how things are.
  17. You look great! Keep up the good job
  18. I'll have to try some of them, I think I've just had the chicken ones
  19. I think we all go through that feeling. I remember wanting a surgery date soooo bad and soon as possible, I remember when my surgeons office called to tell me I was approved, I was so happy, then she said you will be having surgery next week I felt my stomach just drop.
  20. I noticed I have more now then I did before surgery, I do use Splenda in my coffee everyday though, I have heard sweetners cause you to crave more, so it might be a reason I do.
  21. You look amazing! Congrats on your loss
  22. Yes but now that means we have even MORE choices for clothing! Time to find a sugar daddy.... LOL just playin
  23. WOOOOOHOOOOO, CONGRATS! Wishing you the best of luck!
  24. Sorry you are going through this, it will get easier, I know everyone says that, and at this time you wont believe it, but it does! When I was first sleeved I was in the same boat as you when it came to fluids, I thought "Great I can barely get down liquid, is this how its going to be for the rest of my life??" Your stomach is still swollen, once it goes down things will get easier, I can now basicly drink liquids like I did pre-op.
