My jeep will get me anywhere although I don't plan to go out anytime soon...school's already cancelled here and I don't drive in the snow/ice unless it's an emergency... !!! Band wise I'm great!!! It was a rocky start...i was in such pain for the first week..it wasn't so much the surgery but the gas...holy smokes!!!!! for the first three days I regreted my decision..I even thought I was having some type of allergic reaction...I know...over the top, but the pain was HORRIBLE:eek: ...It started in my shoulder and up through my neck and down my arm (left side)... I've gone through 2 c-sections and they weren't as bad...but I'm good now...gas X is my best friend:) I can now say i've made the best decision for me!!! People have already started to notice my weight drop..I'm down 30 pounds!!! I have so much energy it's sickening!!!! at least that's what my coworkers and friend say, but I've always been hyper...lol...

OK! I live in Massachusetts....I should be used to snow, ice, cold and more cold...but I can't stand this!! We are supposed to be getting this huge storm and I am so upset!!! I've lived in this state for 26 years and I still can't get used to it...I wasn't born here but have lived here most of my life.. I love the change of the seasons and all that jazz, but the winter just bugs me.. I know, I shouldn't complain because we have had a very mild winter this year...but something about knowing we are supposed to get ALOT of snow just irritates me...anyway...I've vented and now moving on!!! I walked 4.5 miles today!!!!!I an a certified mall walker now!!! I tried to get as much walking in because I do not drive in the snow..Yes, I am chicken due to an accident I had 2 years ago...long story, short outcome I DON"T DRIVE IN THE SNOW!!! Meals for today: B: 1 piece of toast w/ PB and honey 8 oz of hot tea L: 1/2 cupchicken salad (chicken, tomatoes, cucumbers light mayo) 8 oz light and healthy orange juice S: banana cream pie yogurt 6 oz crystal light d: don't know yet.... s: maybe, maybe not...

  17. Wow...do you remember the persons name on the voice mail? If it was Cheryl, she is very good at getting back to you...I'm not sure if she does the scheduling for Dr. haag, though...It does kinda get you down when they do that...they did it to me twice!!
  18. HI Andrea!! First let me congratulate you on your banding. We were banded on the same day!! Reguarding your situation with your mom...I can relate. Although i am 31 and married my mom still can't comprehend why I had to "tie my stomach" as she calls it. I've just become kind of imune to it. Easier said than done since due to her health issues she is living with us!!! Anyway, You are very lucky to have your dad understand and accept your decision and even help you out. i think your dad understands how important your health is to you. Now your mom. Maybe she just doesn't understand how important your decision to get the band was for you as well as for your health. Maybe she just needs some time to figuer it all out. Take this time for yourself. i do agree with calling a professional. It's always good to talk to someone who has a neutral perspective...I'm no therapist but I hope my words can help you out in some way. Think positive and you will get positive results..I have afavorite quote and I don't know if you are religous or not, but here goes..."GOD does not give us burdens which we can not carry." You are in my thoughts and my prayers!!! I wish you the best and keep up the great work.. Your on your way to a better life!!! Good luck and Keep me posted!!!! Love ya!!!!:kiss2: Olga
  19. Hi nicknack-i don't think it necesarily means automatic problems..I think you need to watch for it to pass. Also, if you feel like something is "stuck" then I would call the MD. I swallowed an orange pit 3 days ago and was sooo scared, but it passed and it was ok...keep an eye out and if you don't see it soon I'd call the MD.. Good luck!!!
  20. Thanks..like I said, the treadmill was just too much for me :faint: , but I walk in the mall (becuase it's toooo cold to walk outside) and I love it!!! Plus, I get to look at what my wardrobe will be like once I'm down to goal....lol!!! i take pictures and everything..and no I'm not insane.... I just LOVE clothes...
