  4. Has anyone experienced a stall and then began the 14 day pre op diet to break it? I am considering this and wondered if it worked. I need to get my self back into ketosis! Melissa

  6. Thanks for the replies! I am not on a PPI. My surgeon does not routinely prescribe those. It seems that the consensus says I should be on one. I will bring this up to my Dr. and see what he says, at this point I will try anything. My urine is dark and small amount so I am trying to increase my Water intake. Thanks to all of you for responding. Melissa
  7. I am soo over this! I am hungry to where my stomache just aches! I try to eat something and can only eat two bites and then feel nauseated. WTH!!! I am only 4 weeks out and am starting to regret having this surgery. I cant drink the protein shakes, cant get in all the water. i know the swelling should be gone now. I am just in a bad place, but continue to smile and tell everyone everthing is fine and great, but secretly I am miserable!!!
  8. BI....because right now she is mean, stubborn, hormonal, and wont give an inch! Maybe if she starts to behave I will rename her! Melissa
  9. I was sleeved June 20th and can only eat 2-4 tsp of anything before I start to feel ill. I am still sipping Water and Protein drinks. If I could name my sleeve it would be BI !!! I hope this gets better not having the greatest of times now but yall tell me it gets better...right? Is purees and mushy the same? Melissa

Thx everyone!! I am so excited to start purees because full liquids ended up being like my clear liquid stage. I am just ready to start eating kind of normal with my family. Good luck to everyone with your weight loss and journey to a healthier you! Melissa
  12. No maam! You are going to be sooo tired. I did not have gas pain and my incision pain was minimal. I was lucky to have the single incision procedure with 1 addintional tiny tiny cut. I go back to work on the 4th July and I am worried that I am going to be extremely tired. I am an RN. Good Luck...Im still waiting to say this was the best decision ever...just not quite there yet

Hey Losers, I start my puree stage on the 4th July. Does anyone have any ideas or recipes for me. Anything will help no matter how small. I just know I will run out of ideas for the month and I dont want to eat the same thing over and over. Thanks Melissa
  14. Good Luck to you. We are in the same boat. I am scheduled tomorreow at 9am. I am very anxious. I understandstand why some people are on anti anxiety meds because if I felt this way day in and day out, I would go crazy!. Hope you have a safe and uneventful surgery and recovery. Melissa
