  5. Congratulations Sarah!! That is AWESOME!!!!! So proud of you!!
  6. This sucks... No other word for it. My surgeon requires two weeks, not really a liquid diet, but I had to buy meal replacements from his office. Right now I am eating some kind of pudding. This morning I had a little packet of some kind of cereal with 4oz of skim milk (that's the only milk in the two week diet - 4 oz at breakfast). Maybe it will get better in the next few days, but I'm not really optimistic. I have to have 6 of the meal replacement packets a day. In between, I can have anything zero-calorie and sugar free. It specified jell-o but the only sugar free jello I found had 10 calories in a serving, so I guess thats out. I stocked up on Crystal Light, and I am trying to find the flavor syrups I have seen everyone talking about on here, but they didnt have them at our grocery store. I WILL GET THROUGH THIS, BECAUSE IT WILL ALL BE WORTH IT IN TWO WEEKS WHEN I GET MY SLEEVE!!!!!!
  7. I start the liquid diet on Monday and I am kinda nervous about it! But I am so excited, 2 weeks until surgery!!!! WOOHOO!!!
  8. I am an April 11th sleever!! On that particular post of the person you want to friend, on the left side where is shows the status, etc., there is a little icon with a green plus sign (if you aren't friends). Click the plus to add as a friend. If you are already friends with that person, it will be a red minus sign. Clicking on the minus sign will remove them as your friend. I already added you!!!
  9. I am kinda in the same boat. My liquid diet starts Monday the 28th (surgery is the 11th), so I told my dear hubby we have to eat all my favorites all weekend Good luck to you, I will be watching your posts since we will be close to the same schedule!!

  21. I am about to embark on the journey of a lifetime!! I found out last week that my insurance approved me to have gastric sleeve surgery. I found out this morning that my surgery is scheduled for April 11th. Exactly one month from today. I am so ready, yet I am very nervous too. I have to start the liquid diet on March 28th (yuck...) and get an EGD on March 29th. I am 32 years old. I have 2 biological kids, and two step kids. I have been married to the most amazing husband and best friend in the world since August 19, 2010. At my heaviest, I was 287 pounds. That was July of last year. Today, I weigh 254 pounds. I am 5'3" tall. Having this surgery is like starting a whole new life! And I can't wait to begin!!
