  1. I was banded last Wednesday and I feel good except for a couple of things. My incisions are good. There is no pain there. I was fortunate and did not have any gas pain. (my gas was released in the normal manner LOL), The issue I am having is the discomfort and swelling on the left side of my belly. It's sore almost like I need sit ups but the discomfort seems to be deeper. I called the dr's office yesterday and she said that since most of the work is done on that side of the belly then the swelling and soreness is normal. I also had a hernia repaired at the same time. Has anyone else experienced this? If so how long did it last and what did you do to get some relief?
  2. I was diagnosised with Sleep Apnea about 4 and a half years ago and I have slept with one ever since. I tried several different types of masks and finally found that the nasal pillows work best for me. I actually like mine. I sleep so much better with it. I have mixed feelings about possibly not needing mine anymore
  3. I am on day 9 of my preop diet. Full liquid diet. Water, crystal light, protein shakes, SF Jello, SF Popsicles, broth and cream of .......soup (thinned to the consistency of milk). Some days I am more hungry than others. So far, today is a good day. My surgery is Feb 23 and I have my final preop appt with my surgeon this afternoon.
