  1. I hear you, I LOVE to eat too. 20 months out and I still find it hard to not think about food all the time. I am sure it will be a battle I am forever fighting. But I follow the rules at least 90% of the time and make up with exercise! Good luck, you can do it!
  2. I'll order a light frappachino once in a while, not bad for around 110 calories!
  3. even just talking about the darn things has made me want some! Good thing there is only one left in the house that is going into my hubby's lunch for tomorrow!
  4. Just because you have the band doesn't mean you are always going to make the right choices. Sometimes I wish the band was around my head as well!
  5. I have just recently had them and they are good! But at 80 calories or so a little bag, just not worth it to eat too many! What I have learned, and the hard way, is that the band is not about restriction for me. Maybe that works for a lot of people, but not for me. I have suffered being too tight and having to wait to be seen to have some fluid removed. I never want to go through that again. So, I have accepted that I have to rely more on willpower than restriction . And believe me, I battle the food demons in my head all the time!! No matter the amount of restriction, chocolate can always go down just fine for me!
  6. I cheat, almost 7 out of 7 days...but have still managed to lose 100 pounds. Don't beat yourself up, you are in this for the long haul.
  7. if your fill was just this past Friday, it can be normal. You may have some swelling from the fill that will go away. Just don't push your luck and get stuff stuck because then you may get even more swelling and need an unfill. Good luck to you two!
  8. if you can't drink, you need an unfill!
  9. hmmmm, that's a tough one! Are the days you are pb'ing and getting stuck, are you eating too fast or too big of a bite? In my experience, I would get an unfill, and once you have no problems go back in for a little bit more. I have had 3 unfills and felt so much better afterwards.
  10. good luck cazzy! You look amazing even without having the thigh lift down yet!
  11. I took that same pic walking out the door the morning of surgery! Too bad my computer crashed before I saved it! Good luck!
  12. if you like chocolate cake you can mix 1 box chocolate cake mix with 1 can diet coke and bake as directed on the box. I think 1/12 of the cake is like 120 calories. Been a while since I have made it. Dollop with some cool whip! Or just have one piece from somewhere! It's your birthday girl!!
  13. I need to update as now I have reached my goal!
  14. options even more limited because I don't think many dr's will see someone else's patient. My dr just started recently.
  15. MOM OF 3, i GOT AN EMAIL BACK FROM THE pa...... Yes….it includes support groups, etc. Also, when we allow pts to come here for follow-up, we legally must also assume liability for this patient. In other words, if they have an emergency or after-hours problem, we have to see them at the hospital, or operate, or whatever is necessary. It is more than just a follow-up visit. Thanks so much for your support!!! J Hope to see you soon, Alli iT IS $1,000 TO START AND $150 PER FILL
  16. www.oliakcenter.com Love my dr and they now see patients who had lapband done elsewhere. They are in Irvine I think every other Tuesday and in Brea the other days.
  17. AH, SORRY. dID NOT KNOW ABOUT the $1,000 fee. It is prob to get all your previous information and make a file for you. It would entitle you to all the support group meetings they have too.
  18. wow, that's crazy. Alli emailed me and told me that they were.I'll send her an email now and let you know what she says
  19. down another 15 pounds and now a 4, though I do have one pair of size 2. Honestly, all I hoped for before was a 12, I can not believe it.

Of course I did!! I went up and down in weight that I had 5 sizes in my drawers! I was always bummed when I missed out on a pair of pants that were now too big. But on the bright side, they were too big!!
  21. I always look up the restaurant online and look on the menu. Most restaurants that I go to have the nutritional info on there. I know ahead of time what I am going to have to eat.
