  1. Rock it girl you know I'm anxious to see a current pic....
  2. I usually just eat off my husbands plate. I've noticed that even the kids portions are huge and much to much for my tiny stomach. So it's understood between me and the hubby hat I'll have what he's having which isn't very much. And we often even have left overs after we have both eaten.
  3. before at 230 after at 150 Im currentlly at goal at 140 no new pictures though. Congrats everyone and keep up the good work..
  4. I had my surgery there on March 14, 2011. I had an excellent experience with the staff and doctor. I have lost 90 lbs and met my goal of 140. He was one of the very few i which I could afford and I'm so happy I chose him.
  5. WOW!! you're taking a long time off of work. Have fun on those off days I only took a week during Spring Break and went back to work the next week. My recovery time was very smooth. Congrats and much success to you..
  6. Deli meat at your stage was a key factor in my protein intake.
  7. I weighed in as 141 today 1lb from goal.
  8. I started out as a 38 C now a 34A. You guys are truly hilarious... Mine are truly deflated and wrinkly.
  9. I stopped a week prior to my surgery and didn't start back up until four months after. Smoking can also slow the healing process after surgery.
  10. So I went bra shopping and to my utter surprise I am a size A cup. Yes training bra material. The only good thing about this is there's always a sale on that size. I know because I have daughter's who are that size. They are so bad off that if I lay down they disappear. Another thing that I have noticed and would like to know if anyone else has experienced this. I often rub on my legs and i feel a lot of lumps throughout my legs they aren't visible but I can feel them. Is anyone else experiencing this?
  11. I'm almost nine months out and I've lost 86lbs no pre-op diet.
  12. I have had a stall for the last four months. I only lose when its that time of the month. I lose 5 lbs a month but all in the same week which is crazy. I can actually time it when the scale starts moving.
  13. your right on track you have to keep in mind it's only been four months. In four months I lost about the same. But the questions truly is are you exercising and getting in your protein and water? Don't get discouraged you come this far all you have is success in your path way and you will achieve if you so believe it. i was right there with you. I'm now 8 months out and very close to goal. So you will be there too. You didn't gain weight over night don't expect to lose it all over night but it will come.. You've done so well..
  14. you are looking good girl keep doing your thing.
  15. I did a 24 hour diet before my surgery. I just couldn't see doing liquids for two weeks I would have went crazy.

  19. You are not alone when I first had my surgery I craved food. I would lick things I couldn't have just to get that taste in my mouth. After a week I was tired of liquids. For a month I ate only hot and sour soup or chili. You get tired of eating the same thing. i was always trying to stretch my sleeve to see what I could handle sometimes it caused me great pain. I remember being two months out and craved a burger so bad I took two bites and it felt like my stomach was about to cave in I threw it all up. It gets better after about four and half months out. Up until I was about three and half weeks out i could barely get down a bottle of water without feeling really tight and full. I was scared to take my medicine because of the size of the pill and it hurt to get them down at first. Now I'm 7 months out and I look at the plate size at a restaurant and think DAMN that's a lot of food. I know my limits now although I still try to push because my mind is bigger than my stomach.
  20. I must say I truly love my sleeve. I have lost 82 lbs thus far. I get mistaken for a student everyday I work at a high school. During Halloween week the kids were having a party and they gave me a flyer thinking I was a student. I'm 30 years old so it feels good to be mistaken as a student some days. I can shop anywhere without fear of not being able to fit in the clothes. it's crazy because I stay on ebay shopping trying to find clothes that no one has mostly from China. My mind has yet to catch up with my weight loss. I haven't been this small since middle school. And even then I was bigger than the other kids. Being 145 as a child is not cool but as an adult you long to be that size. I love to dress up on the weekends as before basketball shorts and t-shirt use to suffice my desire to put on clothes. Now i have to jump fly everyday. I have longed for this day for so long. I wish I could have experienced this during college, Although i did get down to 159 for a day. It's strange when your over 200lbs you want to be 180 then when you get there you still feel big. Now I truly understand when people who are that size they want to be smaller. When I was larger and would here that I use to say to myself hell I wish I was 180 now I'm saying hell I wish i was 140..lol I know I'll get there and to tell the truth I have been to the gym maybe three times and my legs show I just can't bring myself to go...
