  1. I'm not an expert, but I think from what I've heard six months is the recommended amount of time and is more common that three months.
  2. I will pray for you and send you good thoughts tomorrow!
  3. I just got o n but I think I might be addicted soon enough! I'm so happy to have found out something like this exists. The wonders of connecting with people online. My daughter has been doing it for years. Don't know what took me so long.
  4. Isn't it exciting!! I was approved two weeks ago and am still floating on a cloud. Here's to new beginnings!!
  5. Hi everyone, I just want to make a book recommendation. I hope this doesn't sound like an advertisement! I am in my pre-surgery phase and so am just beginning this journey. My fifteen year-old daughter brought home a copy of a book called "Teenage Waistland" from her book fair last friday. She said picked it up because she liked the cover (it's pink, can't blame her) and she read the flap, so bought it for her mom. very touching. Although this book is about teens, it's probably the only piece of fiction out there about people who are going through the lapband process. I'm about halfway through and am definitely enjoying it very much and learning a lot too! Just thought I'd put it out there
