  3. 20lbs. lost in about 12 days..............the post diet is just about the same, liquid protein shakes, jellow.............for 2wks then onto musy foods for 2wks then soids............remember this is such a short period of your life, I know for me I have been Obese for 15yrs so 8wks out of my life eating foods I am not crazy about, I can live with when looking at all the positive things this is going to do for me. I plan to loose over 1001lb..........Yea
  4. Hi, Yea, I know about crushing the pill's have been doing, adding with applesauce. One of my meds. Meformin for Diabetes, have no problem swallowing now, but they are large and concerned when I get my first fill. I was informed that the meds that could not be crushed would have to be exchanged for something else, have to see what they replace it Will. As regards to pain level it has been extremely low..........but that being said, I have a very high tolerance for pain to do to 3 spine surgeries, RA and Spinal stenos,so what I feel versis what someone else might be different. But over all everthing went well for my surgery have only taken pain Rx's a couple of times. As to the pre-surgery diet, I know it sucks, but just think the pre/post diet is such a short time in your life and so important with healing and preventing complications in the future! I am so happy to have it and have lost about 20lbs already.................. Wish you the best of luck, let me know how you make out.
  5. Just had surgery this past Fri. 1/14, wanted to see if anyone out there had problems swallowing there meds? Thanks..........

  7. Oh, my gosh you really had some really serious issues, so very "Happy" that everything went well for you.. You must have been on pins and needles with all the variables especially the Proctor coming in for a vacation. Trying to be positive either way, thanks so much for the good wishes. Same to you!
  8. My diet is a 10 day liquid diet of high protein shakes, broth, sugar free Jello and pop cycle's. Since I am also having problems with really bad leg cramps, surgeon told me to have bananas also. Hope the snow allows me to not have to post pone till next week. I am from Delaware just next store to you, live close to Dover. I think everyone is scared, this is the unknown. But what helps me keep positive "NOW" is that, yea the diet sucks but it is such a short time in my life, compared to the lenght of time I have battled obesity and God willing there will be some "Awesome" changes in my life and yours .........Thanks for your good wishes and the best of luck to you as well!! Will keep in touch
