Hi CincyUdy, Had my surgery 1/14/11, so far I have lost about 25llbs. My doctor wants post surgery, 2wks liquid 2wks musy foods and then solids, so one thing I have found out by being on this sight is everyone is different, how they lose and doctors require different diets. But I would think if most people who stick to the above restrictions they should definitely loose weight. But the band is to be used as a tool to loose, but slowly so you can remain healthy. I am about where you are now, and need to get down to 150llbs also, but I feel like with time and work, I will "DEFINITELY" reach my goal! Best of Luck- February 2011 Bandsters?

Dear duffy777, Wow, so sorry to hear about the blood clots, that must have been scary..............but it's better for you that they found them prior to surgery, even though it extends the liquid diet and surgery date. But the good thing is Feb. 1st is just around the corner! Best of luck to you....let me know how you do.- February 2011 Bandsters?
