  1. Thanks..... I guess I gotta check it out ... cause I think the tuna will kind of stink up a little the office... and I dont wanna do that the first day... But baby carrots I got and string cheese I like the meat and cheese with pickle spear idea.... Thank you once again.
  2. Well I was out of work for 3 months due to the budget cuts in the education system... but I finally got back on my feet and got a job (even though its a through a job agency) but its a start... but I need a little help. I'm going to be working in a office... sooo I guess I need a little help or ideas or suggestion on what someone who is banded would eat or snack on.... cause being 3 months at home.... yeah it was my worst enemy.... So I need to get back on track. Any help would be really really appreciated.. FYI i'm super broke so I cant really go shopping for groceries right now. Thanks Oh by the way i'm going to start working at Coke.... yeah something I loved before my lapband hahahaha Just a little info was banded in Dec 17th started with a 4XLT shirt and size 52 pants and right now im using 2xl or XL shirts and 44 or 42 pants now
  3. I also loveeeeee pizza... but I seen a few recipes for pizza on here one that I tried that, you make you "base" out of ground chicken... yes! I tried it unseasoned ground chicken. 4oz ground Chicken or Turkey... Small non stick pan Spray a lil EVOO on the pan fill in the no stick pan with the ground Chicken/Turkey slow cook (spinning so it wont stick) Flip add pizza sauce a lil of your fav cheese your fav toppings (I sauté my veggies before so they can be softer) then add a lil more cheese Cover pan to let cheese melt enjoy
  4. chicken Chop Suey Shrimp Chop Suey Chicken Broccoli Mushroom Chicken Peppered Chicken Chicken EggRoll (Just the filling) Teriyaki Chicken (No Sauce) So its just grilled chicken Ummm that's about all the things I have gotten
  5. Thank you to all.... for the ideas... I seen that someone posted that they stay under a certain amount of calories.... Am I supposed to stay under amount of calories?
  6. Bump :-( Today was a rough day kept getting hungry about every 2hrs I don't know why
  7. Elise I am 26yrs old and prior to my surgery I would go out to clubs often, 2 of my friends are club promoters so I go with them to help them out and also being with them you meet alot of people so those are our possible new customers when we open new night clubs. These guys know I have had the procedure done and they are very supportive of my decision of my new life so now when I go out to the clubs I walk around meeting new possible customers yeah i'll have a drink in my hand.... but its a non-alcoholic but hey the other person doesn't know that i'll ask the bartender for Water over ice with a wedge of lime or orange or a cherry or pinneaple so it looks like th real deal. Now that I have lost 40plus pounds girls are more easily approachable and honestly I have gotten more customers/possible customers for my guys. Dating its gotten easier.. I have no idea why im still my self Going out to dinner... its easy depending on the restaurants but many restaurants will help you out with just small sides. Like last night I went to the movies and went to dennys after I had 1 scrambled egg with a small side of mashed potatoes with a side of salsa... Everything is possible you just need to use your imagination a little, that's what I do.

  9. Wow Heather... you got 5 months on me... I just got banded on Dec 17th.. so its not even a month. HA!
  10. Hi Heather.... Yes it has been wild and crazy here in so.cal. I'm looking out the window and see super dark clouds on the northern side towards the cajon pass and blue sky were I am at and its really windy and cold... But hey thats California for you. But back to your question.. I have seen on here that some people say that the weather does affect them.. But for me it doesnt. Well it hasnt so far either. I hope someone else who has had the lapband for longer responds to your post.
  11. Well this forum got a little toooo quit .... So let me be the first one to say HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my fellow bandsters! Well I had my surgery on Dec 17th.... and it's been great so far. And I just wanted to post a before ad during picture. Yeah I was out partying on new years eve.... some people told me that I should have been home resting.... IDK hahaha
  12. I didn't believe it when people told me that.. but that explains why I was sore right after surgery.

  14. It's been 1 week exactly today that I had my surgery. My doctor told me last monday that I was healing really fast (my cuts) they are scabbing already so i'm getting that itch already. Anyways I asked my doctor if I could drive soon he said yes after tuesday I was fine to drive. Well today I went to Los Angeles it took me about 1hr&10mins to get there due to lovely LA traffic on the 10 & 605. I felt great but right now I feel like someone kicked the sh** out of me on me lower left side of my stomach well more under my rib cage and yes there is pain. I am wondering now.. maybe I overdid it on my first drive? Cause im also brusing next to 1 of my cuts and another bruise on the other side. Has this happened to anyone? Any OTC meds I could take? Cause I really dont want to take Hydrocodone Thanks
  15. Ummmm this is driving me a little nuts but maybe you guys can help me out. So I have been on a Clear liquid diet for a week, so my dr said my 2nd week to still do my clear liquid diet, but I can now add Milk (non-fat), Protein shakes, yogurts & creamy Soups. So I do wonder what else I can have? I was thiking maybe some pudding (nonfat kind) Any idea anyone? Thanks -Jose
