  1. My Dr. Has told me that having a night cough is a sign of slippage! And has drilled it into me that if I EVER have a night time cough to call him ASAP! I would ask your Dr. about possible slippage.
  2. Thank you all for your suggestions! I am allergic to all seafood, but you have given me lots of ideas for when I try Chinese food again! I am determined not to undermine my progress.
  3. Craving Chinese food, but know my " usual " choices of chicken fingers, boneless spareribs and egg roll are not good choices. ARE there any good healthy choices??? And FYI- banded 5/12/11, no fill yet but doing very well!
  4. I had never heard of him, until I saw a photo of him in an ad in my local (south shore) paper, yesterday. I had my surgery a week ago today by Dr. Adam Glasgow, at Norwood Hospital. I live in Plymouth, so a bit of a drive, but my insurance is through the military, and had to go to a hospital affiliated with my U.S. Family Health Care plan. Curiously enough, underwritten by Tufts! Good luck to you!
  5. 7. YOU are WORTH it! 8. Think of all you will be able to do, that you can't do NOW. Good Luck!
  6. Hi! I was banded on May 12th, 2011 and would love a buddy/mentor! I live on the South Shore of Massachusetts, am a huge Patriots and Red Sox fan, and am looking forward to my lap-band journey. I had my surgery at Norwood Hospital, with Dr. Adam Glasgow. I would love to have someone to talk to about my journey. My email is stichwich@aol.com. Thanks!
  7. Congratulations! That is a size I just dream about! I am looking forward to wearing shirts with no letter X after the size. I am so happy for you!
  8. hi everyone~my first post here. That said, I was banded this past Thursday, May 12th. Felt fine in the hospital. Felt fine yesterday, but slept a lot. Today I feel like I was hit by a truck. Sore all over...but most painful is neck pain on the left side of my neck down into my shoulder. Is this the shoulder gas pain I have read about? OMG, it's like the worst crick in my neck ever...it's killing me! I have been walking, spacing my liquids and mushie food. I don't have a heating pad. What else can I do? how long does it last? I have a high tolerance for pain, but this really hurts!
