  1. Hello Im hoping to hear of your experiences with Anthem BC/BS NH. I called the ins company and they said it was covered. Could it be that easy?
  2. Hello I am also in NH but will more than likely have my surgery in Burlington MA. I am going to the seminar next Monday and will let you know how fast it moves along. From reading the posts, I think its different from state to state and insurance companies as to how long you have to wait. Kerry
  3. Oh yes, I know them very well. I grew up in Connecticut but went to NH every year when we were kids for vacation. Then we moved to NH, on the MA border, but now we just hang out at Lake Winnepausaukee. Guess you gotta grow up sometime, damn.....We still go to Clarks Trading Post once a year though. I am psyched to start the process and went to a seminar a few months ago and was in total denial. I said, "I dont need this, I can do it on my own." Unfortuantly, I have done nothing but think about it over and over and finally I decided that with all my past failures with WW and whatever crash diet I was on, I think I will be very sucessfull and looking for more of a long term life style change. My family is grown and my daughter is leaving for college and it is all about me for a change. Its nice to hear of your fond memories in NH.
  4. Heh Wendy, Im actually in Nashua and grew up in Tyngsboro. Wouldnt that be funny if we knew each other. My primary DR is in NH but they are sending me to the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. They have meetings the 2nd Monday of every month at 4:30. I got their phone number on line and called and registered in about 3 seconds. Let me know how it goes for you. Kerry
  5. Thanks for the question SylviaT. I wanted to ask also. I was curious as to what it meant as it is mentioned in alot of the posts. Now I dont feel so dumb.
  6. Hello all I am in the beginning stages, not banded as of yet without a surgery date. Seminar next week and the rest to follow. Just wanted to say hello and I look forward to getting to know you. Kerry
  7. I am a super newbie as I am only going to the DR for the first time today. I attended a seminar and did some research and now I am ready to start from scratch. My insurance will cover the procedure and I guess Im just curious as to how long from day 1 until you actually get scheduled for the surgery? I know you have to have some tests done and the psych part of it. How long after the procedure can you go back to work? Looking forward to getting you know you all. Kerry
