  1. I use my fitness pal. And the Nike plus gps for my walking.
  2. Congrats!! Good luck
  3. Thanks for all the input.
  4. I was banded one week ago todayJan 7th, No problems at all (except gas pains), was on liquids until jan 11th which was my first Dr. appt, and he put me on soft foods. Dr. told me I could start trying solids today and see how I handled them. I had some chicken for lunch with mashed Potatoes and a buscuit. I had no problems at all. I'm just curious as to the different time schedule to getting back on solid foods, I know my Dr. is Fairly new to banding (1+ year) in comparison to others I just wonder if I am hurting myself by getting back on solids so soon. Thanks.
  5. Tomorrow is my surgery day as well, I had to go out of town yesterday on business and I think I got some food poisoning. Have diarrhea and feel real nauthious. Hole they don't cancel my surgery.
  6. I am scheduled for Jan 7th and starting to get nervous about the surgery part, I am committed to losing the weight, I have lost 22 lbs on my own over the last 45 days. I know I can't keep that up on my own without help and I have researched this for months and months, I know this is what I want, I am just scared about doing surgery, they have to fix a hiatal hernia at the time of surgery.. Just sharing my feelings, thanks..
  7. Has Anyone used Dr. Christopher Coleman in Fort Smith, Ar?
  8. Thanks for your info, I fly at least 3 to 5 times a week, since it is just saline solution it should not cause any problems with a rapid decompression. I go for my initial Dr. visit on Dec. 9th.. can't wait I am so ready!
  9. I have finally decided to make the changes I need to live healthier, I went to a seminar and have my first Dr. Appt scheduled for Dec. 9th. I am a corporate Pilot and was wanting to see if there were any other pilots on the forum that have had the Lap Band and if it affected there flying in any way? Thanks
