  1. Mine was from Target...couldnt tell you the name... its wasnt expensive. Its a digital one and its lasted for 2 years and counting.
  2. Walmart sells capri length Danskin leggings which will hold the tummy and legs in. You can wear them under running shorts.
  3. I try to use both but if there is a one or the other choice I go with sugar free. Its different than no sugar added... sugar free is geared tro a diabetic diet which my Dr says is the way to go... For example fat free pudding has a ton of sugar in in where as sugar free pudding has not alot of fat. If that makes sense.

You guys are all so cool.... I think Maddy and all of you have valid points.... some people just dont want to know this takes hard work and effort.
  5. Additioally Ask about the pre and post op diets... Ask him what rules he has for carbonation, eating while drinking and using a straw.
  6. I bet we all have done it... But it's not healthy to make a steady diet out of it. I did it with steak once... Just to taste a piece of juicy rare ribeye before I cut off the fat... I chewed it until the flavor was gone... Then I gave it to the dog. We all have our weak moments.
  7. Since I had 227 to lose.. It wasn't until about the first 50/75 did some people start noticing.... Then it was. Did you cut your hair? Then after I lost about 150 I got more compliments... But it wasnt until I dropped the last seventy that people couldnt seem to talk about anything else. So be patient.... Those compliments are right around the corner.
  8. I will gently say you should see your surgeon or family doctor. That doesn't sound normal and while there may be an obvious solution I cannot figure out why it's happening and you cant either ...so maybe it's time for you to get checked out to make sure nothing serious is going on.... Best wishes.
  9. Like many others i am sure.... I get a lot of PMs from people at different stages of their journey asking how they can be as successful as I have been, what were my challenges, what do I eat etc....... And I answer each and every question. A handful of people, write back thanking me or expressing their concerns, frustrations etc....But I really am not sure why most of the others actually do not... I offer my opinions, answer their questions and give them the what worked for me speech... And then I never hear from them again. Not even a thanks for taking the time to answer me... I am not expecting life long pen pals and i I am greatful when Someone actually acknowledges my repy... But for someone to take the time to write, m to take the time to answer I am baffled as to why they don't acknowledge my answer. Just another thing to make you go hmmmmm
  10. If your doc is like mine he will discuss it with you and also may ask what kind of foods you are eating... For example once I told him lunch was a taco salad and I was hungry after 3 hrs so I needed a fill. He said...what was on the salad... I said mostly lettuce, 1/8 c cheese, onion, salsa and 2 oz of ground beef. He said...you don't need a fill... You need to eat something other than lettuce to fill you up.... Because lettuce has no value except making you feel full.I didn't get my fill but followed his directions and realized I didn't need one.
  11. Water or any liquid will not stretch your pouch...that's why liquid calories are something to stear clear of
  12. I think the retaining Water may be the key.... Maybe up your water for a few days and see what happens
  13. Oh geez I am so sorry to to hear this. Its quite a pain isnt it....? You know what is interesting? My Dr said he doesnt see this problem often but when he does its usually from people who have lost ALOT of weight.... I wonder what the connection is?
  14. I am allowed the following portion at each meal: 3 oz Protein, 1/2 c veggie and 1/4 starch For me i know I need a fill if: my portion of food at each meal does not hold me for 4-5 hours I find myself looking for food... or wanting to snack I am not satisfied with my portion of food and want more
  15. Went back to the Dr this morning for a recheck on my healing and the belly button saga... The healing / incision / scars on both tt and breasts are doing amazing... but the belly button is still draining... its not infected but he wants to see me again on Thursday. If at that time I am still "draining" he said he would put in a small tube so its stops coming out the belly button so that can finally heal. I told him I am about over wearing a maxi pad on my tummy so am willing to do what needs to be done!
  16. If you weigh or measure it and track your calories you can....some people have issues popcorn tho so start of carefully...chew slowly
  17. Water....seriously that is the best thing you can drink. If you are asking about alcoholic drinks... Vodka and water heavy on water...with a splash of cranberry might be the closest to being the best.
  18. About 5 hrs I had three procedures...a breast lift and augmentation and the tummy tuck. I went under at 830 am and the dr called my husband at 130p to tell me they were finished... And I had and I quote....a smoking bod.... LOL. My husband got a kick out of that. I was awake by about 215p and on my way home at 3ish
  19. beautiful pic Mis!!! Now we need to get you into some smaller clothes. I am so proud of your accomplishment. Enjoy this bandaniversary....you earned it!
  20. I didn't think the band was around in 1996 but then I saw the correction. The only food I can honestly say I have a major issue with is rice. No matter how slow I eat or how mushy I make it it's coming back 90% of the time. I hope you get in to see your dr so you both can determine why you are having these issues. Best of luck!
  21. You may want to look but if I recall there is a recent thread somewhere on this forum where people all over the country posted their costs... I live in Florida, was self pay and it was about 10k
  22. I did 1000 calories of solid food from the time I started mushies. My dr doesn't advocate protien shakes as he feels you do not get the full feeling and they are empty calories so I didn't do them. Others will disagree which is fine...so check with the dr, I used my droid phone with calorie counter by fatsecret.com to track every calorie I put in my mouth to make sure I never went over my allotment. My guidlene daily was three meals a day of 3 oz protien, 1/2 c veggie and 1/4 c starch. I was also allowed 2 Snacks one which was usually a fruit.
  23. Thursday seems to be the day of choice. I planned on going back Monday but didn't happen. I did work from home tho. Then the next 2 days I went in the office for half days..back to ft on Thursday.
