  1. Check out some You tube videos from Skymoon. . . she and her husband had issues because he preferred bigger women. . so he felt unattracted as she got down on her numbers, they went through marital counseling. I recommend keeping an open line of communication and asking him questions. I have heard all kinds of bad things that occur in a relationship when all the weight is lost because you do change some. What you like and enjoy doing is different at 300 to 150. This is actually my biggest concern about the process but my husband is very supportive about it and I share everything with him and allow him to question anything about it he wants. Don't get mad if they ask questions we may be insulted about .. . he has good intentions and is just worried usually!!
  2. You should be using protein drinks. . be careful of high calories. The numbers I was given was 70-100 gr of protein a day.
  3. Try GUMMY Vitamins. . . just chew well!
  4. The water thing. . . You are suppose to sip constantly therefore drinking that much is very doable. . . the first few days my Dr. says to use a medicine cup to drink out of to slow yourself down and to only have 30 mL every 15-30 minutes. Then you can slowly increase. Water will not necessary keep you full because it trickles down to the large part of your stomach quicker than food! Good Luck!
  5. I am not banded yet but I have researched this for two years!! You should call your doctor if you are in that much pain just to make sure also there are other things people have said they take for gas if the bandsters want to share them . . I have also heard that day 3 -5 are the worst then things get better so there is light at the end of the tunnel!! Good Luck!
  6. I suggest reading Women, food and God by Geneen Roth. . . It is not about "GOD" but about a very general idea of something more. The book did wonders for me. I was such an emotional eater and binger and I no longer do those things because I have worked on the emotional issues. There is a strong connection with food and emotions. I am getting my band done in 6 months bc I still eat my 3 big meals but the emotional side of it is a work in progress but I definitely feel the healing. I am nervous about it failing but but I think if you are willing to commit and work on yourself then you can't fail. We are always a work in progress.
