4 Weeks Post-Op...tired!
I was sleeved 14 days ago tomorrow. I started work this week. Today, I am feeling really tired. I drink the 42g Protein Myoplex along w 32 oz water. Doc wants me to drink 64 oz water but it takes all day to get in what I can...seems some days r better than others.

Home Finally
Congrats! The hospital had me up and walking every 2 hours to help w gas...when I went home, there was an expectation of continuing the "walking". 12 days later, I can finally sleep through the night w no gas pain.

I'm nacol2013 on mfp.- African American Sleevers
Just discovered this thread. I had my surgery 9/21. I am still doing full liquids and can't wait for my post op appt next week. I have to wait until then to get something new added to my diet. Today has been tough emotionally as I am so freakin tired of broth and tired of the hubby driving me everywhere in my brand new car. I know he is just lovin it. Doc will not allow me to work from home or drive until I see him...rest walk n sip.- First Day Of Soft Food
Me too...I'm so tired of broth, decaf coffee, sf koolaid water, sf jello. 9/21 surgery n can't drive or nothing till my Tues post op appt.- Im Sleeved
I was sleeved last Friday and everday seems to be a bit better than before. I have the shoulder pain that is a true pain in the a** at night but I take those Gas X or pain meds to help. Walking was painful at first but again, it is getting easier as each day passes. Hang in there, you can do it!- surgeon in Houston,tx
I went thru True Results but changed from Dr. Hollis to Dr. Christopher Reilly. I met Dr. Reilly during the PreOp appt, spoke on Endoscopy day, and right before Sleeve day. I watched his YouTube video and could just tell that he was in it for the patients. He has a wonderful bed side manner and took the time to answer all of my questions; luckily i switched from the band to the sleeve prior to surgery based on my conversation w him.- 4 Days After Surgery
I had a 2 night stay too and was so thankful they let me go yesterday afternoon. The nurses had me up n walking every 2 hours round the clock. I had a bit of nausea n temp spike w dry heaving but now I'm feeling a lot better.- 4 Days After Surgery
Looks like we had surgery around the same time. I don't have much of an appetite right now but I'm eating the broth, sf juice, water n protein shakes. My hubby has me on a routine; we walk we eat we rest we suck the tube and repeat. My energy is starting to pick up and I'm feeling better. No regrets!- Post Op September Sleevers, Roll Call
I'm not there w you all yet but "soggy cereal" is on my list of soft foods. I had surgery on Friday n I'm still recovering; didn't get released from the hospital until yesterday afternoon. I have walked today, did my breathing thing I suck at really, took my meds...next up protein shake. Have to try to get at least 60g protein 8 cups water...haha.- I Am So Proud To Report That My Wife Was Sleeved This Morning
Thanks everyone for the support. Looks like I will be released this afternoon!- I Am So Proud To Report That My Wife Was Sleeved This Morning
I just wanted everyone to know that she was sleeved this morning, and i am so proud of her. She is in revovery staying overnight. Thanks to everyone in this forum for your support. I'm just so happy for her......- I'm Officially Sleeved
Hope you feel better! You made it to the finish line...congrats!- Omg The Pain!
Hope you feel better and Congrats on Surgery Day!- Has Anyone Prepped For Sleeve By Exercising Months Pre-Op?
I agree wholeheartedly! I joined a gym n got a personal trainer in March to prepare for Friday's surgery. I do believe it will all pay off. I have a routine that I am going to miss for the next 4 weeks and the coming back part is what scares me!- Lymphedema And Wls
My Lymphedema Doc told me to stop massages to avoid doing more harm in case the therapist didn't have experience. So far, I know of no massage therapist in my area w experience in this area. Staying positive and hoping w exercise/weight loss, it will get better. I have a mild condition--caught very early.- Lymphedema (Swelling in lower legs)
I have leg lymphedema too...any updates/improvements?- Lymphedema And Wls
I have leg lymphedema and am scheduled for the surgery on Friday. I don't wrap my legs at night but I do use the pump daily/wear compression stockings. Just wondering how things are going for both of you now?- Anxiety Meds?
I know the feeling...always starts w my stomach! My hubby has a way of calming me tho.- Surgery Sept 21St
