  1. forgot to mention, I may be scared all the way up to the surgery 9/21, but, I won't let Fear stop me...keep moving forward cause we have a bigger goal to achieve. Funny thing, my hubby has decided to some type of "diet" along with me to help us both be accountable to each other.

  7. I just changed to Dr Reilly. Just called insurance and found out I was approved; anxiously waiting for True Results to call for confirmation ad get me scheduled.
  8. True Results submitted 8/23; it was approved Today 8/27! Doin the happy dance...
  9. I am using True Results Houston and just got approved by Fed BCBS. Paperwork was submitted 8/23 and today it was Approved!
  10. I just found out I was approved by Fed BCBS...just waiting on the surgery date!

  12. Good luck! I have been reading, researching all I can about the process and through this site have gathered a list of questions for the surgeon.
  13. I had my last med supv visit last week; now waiting for insurance approval. Hoping for Sept surgery real soon!
  14. My plan was to do everything I can to get in some kind of shape before the surgery. I joined the gym and got a personal trainer in March. Now, I exercise 6 days of the week; one of those days is water aerobics which is my fun slacker class. I'm hoping this will help somehow. I just can't stand the idea of stopping for a long time; hoping I can get back to my routine 2 weeks after the surgery.
  15. I sit at a desk for 8 hours. My plan was to take 6 days of work off but start teleworking from home perhaps by day 4.
  16. I have it in both legs. I'm not taking water pills as the Dr said it wouldn't work n was proven before the diagnosis. I've been concerned about lymphedema n the lap band. Glad to hear it won't impact weight loss...
  17. I'm going w True Results in Houston. I feel like I am being wel, prepared for what is to come! Everyone is Great! I have 1 more dr visit to insurance submittal, I am so excited!
  18. My mom refuses to see my brother n I as adults. We r both in our 30's; I'm married w 17 old twin boys but still get the annoying questions regarding our parenting, etc. I have chosen to only tell a select few people about the surgery. She will find out a few months post op because the questions, etc simply bother me n I dont need any negativity. This is all about ME. I understand your pain, hang in there n remember why u r doin this...
