I will be 4 wks tomorrow and I am a belly sleeper. I actually slept on my belly within a week. I had to be very careful but I was able to do it. I still have bruises on my belly but the incisions are almost healed all the way. The bigger incision still has a scab but it's getting there. I started with sleeping on my side and then woke up on my stomach. I am still careful getting up and doing my cleaning around the house. I don't want or need a hernia. Last week I came back to work and felt FABULOUS!!! I too stayed active the third week in prep for the work week. It definitely helped... Good luck with sleeping and getting back to the swing of things! Stay blessed!
  11. Amen to that! I was sleeved on Oct. 9th and I can definitely tell you that inches will come off when weight doesn't. Workout so your skin tightens up some and think BEAUTIFUL thoughts always. We are too blessed to be stressed!!! Stress makes you fat, we don't want that in our lives anymore so don't go there... Easier said than done but practice makes perfect!
  12. Congrats! Best wishes your way )
  13. Praying for your success. With God all things are possible! We can do this!!!
  14. I use Ibuprofin 800mg (2 pills at a time) I know it's double my dosage but with Endometriosis, fibroids and cysts, I need something really strong... HATE CRAMPS!!!
  15. Mefred, how are you feeling now? i'm feeling pretty good. some foods I loved before, I don't like now... crazy! Today is my first day back to work and I am loving everyone's reaction... Hope you are feeling great and keep your eye on the prize... God bless.
  16. My prayers are with you. Good luck!

  21. update: I called my ins co Monday the 8th and found out some of my info was not sent to ins co. I called the surgeon's office and was told that info was sent. Not even an hour later I received a call that my denial was overturned and I am one wk postop today. Thank you for the advice. I feel great and can see the difference already.
  22. 10/13/12 update Had my surgery on Tuesday 10/09. Found out the day before I was approved. I was in an emotional rollercoater. Day 2 & 3 were tough. Now, I'm feeling stronger and am already seeing results. Thank you for prayers. Take care.
