Loosing My Hair And Needing Some Input :(

Nioxin shampoo is what alot of cancer patients use, I am taking Biotin and also using Nioxin, and take all your vitamins, so your body gets its nutrients and doesnt got in shock mode so extreme.

    Today One Year Ago..........

I LOVE this entry!! Congrats to you on your amazing journey. I couldn't agree more - - it's ALL up to YOU with the band! I had to take all of the pro's and con's and consider what I could do. The number one most important thing I have learned on my journey is that I am responsible for myself. If I do bad things, I have bad consequences. Good things cause good things to happen. What a difference a year can make!!

    Need Motivation

I get the feeling! I go in and out with struggling to get myself to go, and it's all a head game for me. I read something once that helped to make the head battle a little easier... just make your daily goal to just put on your gym clothes and get to the gym.. don't think about being miserable once your'e there or how much time you have to put in. Get over the hump of just getting dressed and going - that is totally doable! Then, once you're there, chances are you're going to do the rest. Sounds stupidly simple, but it worked for me!! Good luck!!

Getting Sleeved With Low Bmi...any Risks?

We have the same BMI pre op. according to my doctor, with a lower BMI, the complications are less likely to occur and recovery should be easier. I was sleeved 04/21. 6 weeks PO, and i feel absolutely normal, just dizzy occassionally. Good luck!

Getting Sleeved With Low Bmi...any Risks?

I have a similar BMI and I am being sleeved in Mexico on Thursday. I have tried every diet known to man, I work out like a maniac and still cannot get to a comfortable weight. The only time I did was when I ate very little on diet pills. That was not maintainable, I feel that with the sleeve I will be able to get to and maintain a more comfortable weight.
