Ouch my blisters are hurting my feet.

My D.H. :) and I have been doing 3 1/2 miles everyday for 5 days. I also did 3 1/2 with a freind of mine yesterday making 7 miles in one day. That isn't a lot for some, but for a couch potato like me, that was HARD!!! We ran a lot of it yesterday, but today I only ran a little and lipmed the rest. We are trying to do the same route for 21 days straight, because I told him if you do anything for 21 days in a row, it becomes a habit. I am not sure that I like how compassionate and helpful he is trying to be...IT HURTS!!! I know it has only been 5 days, so there is no reason to expect to have lost anything, which is good, because I haven't lost anything.:)

I hope to keep up the good work. :w00t:

what i can suggest is get some new shoes that fit better so you dont get blisters and get as sore. asics is a good brand and also brooks and something that starts with a m cant remember the name. when you get new shoes i also suggest to get them fitted. what i mean by that is check your shoe size and see how wide your feet are and get the right width. it does wonders for your feet i was wearing nikes and when i run my shins would become sore and now nothing is sore and i can feel im more stable as well in them.

Thank you for the help/ I will check on getting some new ones. I never really thought about it, becasue these haven't been worn too long (used to dress in heels for work). You are right though, I need to see how they FIT!!! I love the fact that my body had no trouble running, just my feet were staging a protest.

Thanks again.

Good for you! You may also want to invest in some really good socks. I love Thorlo socks, and I think you can get them at Lady Foot Locker. I was told cotton socks can cause blisters, but the Thorlo are made of something different. They really helped me! Good luck!
