The Road to Health is Paved with Good Intentions

Hello All.

I'm Emma-Louise and I am 19 years old.

I live in Parkes, a small town in New South Wales, Australia. I live with my boyfriend David and our two lop eared bunnies, Meredith Gray and Sandra Oh.

I have a social anxiety disorder and I suffer from depression. Sometimes I can't bring myself to leave the house, or even answer the phone.

I like movies and television, reading, drawing, and swimming.

I am 172cm tall (5 foot 9) and I weigh 122 kilograms (268.4 pounds).

I intend to get lapbanded the very second I can sort out the finance.

I am only a Disability Pensioner and I have no private health insurance.

This is my blog, and hopefully, it will soon contain my journey back to beautiful.

Hey, welcome to LBT. I commend you on taking this step and choosing to get the band. I'm working towards this goal too. I hope losing the weight can help you take back your self esteem and your life but know that it's about more than what you look like and if you really want to over come your fears you will need to comfront them. You will probably be required to see a psychiatrist or psychologist before being approved for surgery and I hope they can help you discover your self worth regardless of your size.
