plateau in weight loss

I was banded in Jan 08. Down from 229lbs. to 163lbs. but I can't seem to lose anymore weight. I would like to weigh 140lbs. Last time I went to the doctor in Jan he said my pouch was a little dilated and he took some fluid out. Due to go back in a few weeks. Having to change doctors due to insurance. Any suggestions to promote more weight loss?

Now for what you don't want to hear, eat less and exercise more.

Identify the most high calorie thing you put in your mouth. Eliminate it or cut back by half.

If you are doing cardio 3 days bump it to four or start interval training to boost the intensity.

You've lost a great amount. So you obviously know what you're doing. Now it is just time to re-energize the process.

Ps- have you heard about the 5-day pouch test? Google it and have a look.

Good Luck on your journey, Amanda
