decisions, decisions

I've been eating healthier for two months now with a wonderful loss of 25 lbs.

This was a prerequisite for lap band by my insurance co. The more I hear, the more I am questioning whether to get the lap band or not. I've been enjoying trying new, healthier receipes and worry about missing eating the amount I enjoy, but even more so slipping uncontrollably back to regain weight. Has anyone had a bad experience with lap band they could share?
