This post might not be for the weak stomached

Well I said I would post the good, the bad, and the ugly. Well here is the ugly.:w00t: If my gas gets any worse I am going to have to put a 4 point seat belt on my toilet to keep me from shooting off of the bowel! My gut sounds like a large boiling calderon constantly gurgle, gurgle, gurgle, and bubble, bubble, bubble. I have tried gas-ex and yogurt, and walking but the PSI in my gastrointestinal track continues to build! Did you ever see the movie Alien where the little baby alien pops out of the guys stomach? Well I am waiting, I think mine will be out anytime now. That is the only explanation I can come up with! I am seeing the surgeon on Friday, I might just be able to float there if I continue to inflate! Maybe I will wear a lap band t-shirt and become my own parade float. Well this is were I stand today.

I doubt if it's much consolation USA, but I'm still putting around and I'm a week ahead of you. Every morning I sound off before I've even risen from the bed.

I assume you've also tried walking. That kept the pressure down on me. I'll be very interested to hear what your doc has to say.

I found that I had to change the kind of protein shake for the gas to settle down. I got the most gas from the Body Fortress protein from Walmart. I got the least gas from Unjury. Lactade tablets actually helped a bit too.

Perhaps also going over to the "mens room" on the main board and see if other guys had the same issue and what they did.

Good luck on your journey.

I had to change my milk to lactaid. I have never had a problem with milk till i was banded! But with the lactaid (fat free) im fine.
