tomorrow is my 1st bandiversary

Well here I am one year tomorrow since I had my gastic band operation, I should be feeling on top of the world with the amount of weight that I have lost, but there is just one wee thing bothering me and it,s my self image. I still see myself as grossly overweight, I have lost 140lb roughly with another say 56lb to go I know that I will do it evenually. I am glad that I had the band operation because I am the total opposite of how I was before getting the band I sat on the couch and stuffed my face nite after nite now I hate sitting in. Tomorrow I am running the Murrayfield support group this is now our 3 or 4 monthly meeting not only is it my 1st bandiversary but Chris Oilver is coming to be a guest speaker. We are all going out for a christmas nite out so I am looking forward to that.

Congratulations! I think it is fabulous that you have lost so much weight. Please don't feel so down on yourself. You've really done an amazing job. I'm pretty sure you'll lose those other 56 lbs. in no time. 140 lbs. in one year. WOW, that's great!

Wow, what an inspiration you are. Self image is somthing that we always will have to work on, so keep working on it.

ONe thing that helps me is looking at my before pics, and comparing them to a recent pic. Try it, you will be happy with how far you've come.
