Can heavy lifting cause band to slip?

Today I pushed and pulled on heavy furniture (rearranging) in my classroom. I was wondering, it has been 4 wks. since my surgery and is it possible I could have caused damage to my band?

I doubt you would cause damage to your band, maybe your port - since it is attached to muscles in your stomach. I know I wasn't allowed to lift anything heavy for 3 months to ensure the port was scarred in correctly.
