Getting banded in Mexico

My insurance wont cover the band and I have priced around and looks like Mexico is the best price. Want to know who has been banded there and what was your experice like? I am looking at going with Dr Ortiz. ANy suggestion??? :confused2:

    Hi,

    I was banded in TJ by Dr Corvalla on 3-19-07 at Angels Hospital. My wife too. We have nothing but good things to say about him and his team. For the then price of one band here in the States my wife and I were banded. So I say go for it! I have lost over 80 lbs and I'd do it all again if I had to. Good luck, JRATKELL
