My name is Ruth and I am waiting to see the doctor on July 23, 2008. I have lost 45 pounds on my own. I started this adventure in Jan of 2008. I have done this many times in my life. I really want to have this Lap Band procedure done. I have gone through all the requirements that I needed to. I am a little afraid that the doctor may say that I am not overweight enough for the procedure. I so hoping that this is not the case. This has been a battle for me all my life. I just wanted to share this with someone. Thank you for listening
