To be banded 7/23/08

Hello everyone :biggrin2:

I have been reading blogs on here since I made the decision to get the surgery. I am not sure I would have found my Dr. without this site. I am going to Dr. Kirshenbaum and am very excited! His staff has been so helpful, I have yet to talk to him but will shortly. The closer it gets to the date the more nervous I am becoming. I am starting to worry about slipping, port issues, soreness....and so on. It is all worth it right? :biggrin:

I think I am needing the comfort of people who have already gotten the surgery...any advice on anything please let me know. Thank you, have a great day.
