Feel to old to do this!

Well I feel I am to old to do this, but with my health problems, I don't have much of a choice. I have tried everything, like everyone else, but nothing works. I lost 80 lbs. a few years ago but gained it all back plus some, and i said "I will never be this way again". Well now I looked even worse. It's hard to see your self large sometimes. My surgery is Monday 4-28-08. I am very excited. I have been on liquids since last Monday, and I can't beleive I am not really hungry, but I miss FOOD! My daughter had lap-band surgery in December 2007. She has lost around 30 lbs, and that kind of concerns me, because I am so impatiene, I want everything now. Since I made my decision to have surgery last december I have lost 32 lbs. Which is great, but I can't really tell it. So I am trying not to get discourged. So wish me luck, this is all new to me.

I had my band done in Nov 07, and I have lost 44 pounds I am 56 so at whatever age if you want a change it is your decision... I know when I get used to all the changes I will be so glad I did this.
