Day 19 and discouraged

I am at day 19, the scale has not moved for over a week, since I started soft foods. I also haven't been walking like I did the first two weeks. Now that I have gone back to work, I have not figured out how to make it part of my routine. I have a treadmill in my livingroom that doesn't work. I believe I would use it if it did. I wish I had one. I also have a friend that lives in an apartment on my way to work but I don't have access to get there without her. I am trying to stay positive and focused but I am realizing this doesn't jsut melt off without my initiative.

I also stalled about my third week. Was stuck for 8 days then lost 2 pounds, my only form of exercise has been walking and kayaking so nothing to extreme, I think that is fairly normal. I find I will lose 1-2 pounds then stay put for 4-5 days then another pound so I am a slow loser, don't get discouraged just try to get your water and protein in. I am vigilant with drinking but haven't been overly strict with protein, figure I am getting 40-60 a day.

I also started on soft solid food and have not seen any weight lost in 3 days. I'm day 21 today, getting kinda discouraged also, but after reading you post and others comments gives me a little comfort. Lifted my mood a little, will continue to follow program and do my best and honestly thats all we can do, the rest will follow.

I stalled for 2 1/2 weeks about the same time and then the scale started moving again. Hang in there! Your body is trying to get used to all of these changes and it needs time to adjust. Stay on track and the weight will start coming off again!

I'll learning how to incorporate exercise into my regular routine. I'm setting aside specific times to take care of myself and I have a workout buddy, too. I walk during work breaks I've found that there are just as many workout opportunites as there are excuses to avoid exercise. My exercise routine is most consistent when I am least tolerant of excuses.
