First Post/background

Okay so here we go. I am 28 years old. I was originally referred for WLS surgery in November. It took me until now to weigh my options and realize that I am not getting any younger and why waste another year of my life getting nowhere. For years I have seen my goal dates pass without a pound lost. I have severe sleep apnea and insulin resistance. I have educated myself on the procedure thoroughly. My referral expired so I am waiting on a new one. That part is easy.

I know that I must take the 12 week options class. I am hoping I can get into it quickly. I am looking for people that have gone through the classes or surgery through Kaiser in the Antelope Valley to answer my questions and tell me what to expect. I am wondering how long it will take to get into my surgery.
