I'm not sure about the swelling. However, if it is red and sore also, I would contact the doctor. Swelling could be from just having the drain removed. I had surgery on the 22nd also. Best of luck.

    also if it is hot, or if you have anything draining from it...not good, go in to see the surgeon.
