LAP-BAND Patients

All of your thoughts are going to be there. I am having my sleeve on March 15th. My friend had it done and she is so stoked with her new body. "The best thing she has ever done". She is now excited for me. Yes, there are risks with the surgery. But aren't there risks crossing the street? I am an RN and I have researched this surgery. I am looking forward to the surgery without any real worries. I have faith in the doctor and staff. Everything will be just fine. Put your worries aside and dream of the future. You will look back and "poo-poo" those thoughts.

hey ashley, i'm a doctor and do surgery, i've never had any surgery myself and want the sleeve. make sure it's a surgeon with good reputation. it is a scary process but also think about all the medical problems that being obese can cause. the hair will come back, if you lose blood they can give you some, antibiotics for infection. if there's a staple leak how's that taken care of. also how many times do people die during this surgery. if you know the complications and know the game plans for each of them that may help. also pray about it. weight loss is one of the best gift you can give to yourself
