Hello VS family!

 

Reading your blogs answered all of my questions and I want to thank you all for taking the time out to post your experiences. You just don't know how much I appreciate it.

 

My surgery is tomorrow 2/22/10 and I'm a little scared. I just want everything to go well because I'm ready for a healthier me. I know that I've made the right decision and as always I'm putting myself in gods hand and ask that he bless and guide the doctors during my surgery. I believe in the power of prayer and ask that you say a prayer for me.

 

Thank you and I will keep all of you posted on my progress. Thanks for the support! :w00t:

Well, I did it! So far I lost a total of 20 pounds. But, I'm afraid that I'm eating too fast! I'm eating 4oz of soft food and will eat it in less than 20 minutes. Depending on what I'm eating, my stomach will tell me to slow it down! Today I will start pacing myself to stretch it to 30 mins. Good luck to all of us!
