Day 6 (Drainage Bag Removed)

Day 6: I got by drainage bag and most of my stitches out today! YAY! I'm so happy! I couldn't wait to get that tube out of my stomach. Yuck! :mad0: I feel 100% better! :biggrin2:

They only left the stitches by my belly button and I get those out in another week. I'm so happy that I can start feeling "normal" again...

I have a little pain, but not much. The doctor said taking the stitches and the tube out wasn't going to hurt, but he lied! :scared0: I was ready to scream! But it was worth it! :cursing:

I've lost 10 lbs. so far. I have been so hungry today! I so wish I could eat something of substance! Somehow I'll have to make it on my clear liquids...

Yay on your recovery. Remember this clear liquid stage will be over before you know it. You're doing great so far!

I am so happy that you are doing better. I will be glad to see pictures of you after you lose some more.

I posted an update on "Tell Your Story" on my thread, "Waiting! Getting Closer to having my VSG surgery". It is rather long, but I wanted to let you know all my information has been submitted to insurance to see if I get approved Finally-----!!!
