Starting the sleeve pre-op journey

I'm new to the discussion about the sleeve surgery and am in the process of going forward with the surgeon/hospital/pre-op journey and am a self pay. I really enjoy all the stories and information that everyone shares, they have been so helpful in my making the decision to go with the sleeve vs the lapband. The journey begins. I will meet with my personal physician next week and she has not been supportive of my wanting bariatric surgery, but will see how adament she is and if she will help me get medical clearance. Hope so. If not my bariatric surgeon has some doctors that will help. Thanks again for all your help. I will keep you posted.
