When I got a fill a few weeks ago I felt so good. I finally felt restriciton and immediately saw results and felt like I was flying on top of the world! Now it seems my restriction is gone as well as the wind in my sails.....i dont know what happened! Is this normal? I really dont have it to take another day off work plus borrow a car to go down for the 3 hr drive and then pay for the fill too. Any advise?

Oh Wow!! that sure is a lot to go through just to get yourself taking care of. I know things are a bit hard right now with you having to borrow a car and all but DON'T GET DISCOURAGED!!! KEEP YOUR MIND FOCUSED ON THE TASK AT HAND. THAT IS JUST THE DEVIL TRYING TO GET AT YOU. DON'T LET HIM PREVAIL, WHAT YOU ARE FEELING IS NORMAL. JUST STICK TO WHAT YOU KNOW, SUCH AS WHAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO EAT AND HOW YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO EAT AND DON'T DETOUR FROM IT. YOU WILL START TO LOSE WEIGHT AGAIN, OTHER FACTORS HAVE COME INTO THE PICTURE AND NOW YOU ARE STRESSING OR WORRYING...DON'T!!! GET IN YOUR CLOSET AND PRAY FOR YOURSELF, ASK YOUR FATHER FOR GUIDANCE AND COMFORT AND THE ABILITY TO STAY FOCUSED AND ASK HIM TO WALK WITH YOU ON THIS TEDIOUS JOURNEY. YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE IT HONEY....JUST GET BACK ON TRACK AND STAY THERE. AND YES, I AM SHOUTING BECAUSE I WANT YOU TO HERE ME AND NOT THAT DEVIL. BUT IN A GOOD WAY....GOD BLESS YA AND LET ME KNOW HOW THINGS GO.

As far as your question "is this normal". The answer to that would be yes. Everyone is different and it sometimes multiple fills before you truly get full use of the band. The one thing I want to remind you of which all of us have had to come to grips with. The band is a tool, this process is 90% you and 10% band. You are what you eat and even the band alone can not make you lose weight. This process is slow and it really is a life style change. Personally I fight my demons weekly, old temptations will always be there and so I work at it everyday to make sure I remain true to banded living. Even 2 years out and at goal weight for several months now, I still write down all I eat, i still weigh and measure my meals. I don't want to ever gain my weight back, this is my life now and I have to live it to the fullest. So if you can not controll your hunger between meals, you are not filling full after about 1 to 1 1/2 cups of food for 3 hours at least, you need another fill. Talk to your doctor, I still see mine every 6 months even if I am having no problems.Good luck to you and believe in your self, this process does work for most, but it does take a lot of accountability to yourself. You have to own this!

Well, that is what I am here for and I am glad that I can help you in that way. God said use His word for the edification and lifting of others and If I can do that for even the meekest of persons I am glad to do and it makes my heart sing to know that I am doing so. Praying that your situation gets better. Remember, God is bigger than all our problems.

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.

      Einarmige Banditen
