No Weight Loss

Ok, the weight loss has really slowed down. I was banded on 03/06/12, I have no restrictions when it comes to excercise now, I am working out 3 days a week for 1.5-2 hours a day. I am eating right and the scale is not moving. I don't feel like I am losing inches either. ugh. this is very frustrating.

How long have you been stalled?

Are you logging your food? Maybe some not so good stuff has been creeping in there and you just haven't "noticed" it. Also, our bodies hold onto weight for a lot of different reasons I am sure yours will get the picture soon and let it go.

I would call your drs office and talk to your dietitian and see if there is something different you can do. I was also stuck at the same weight with no changes and i told them i was frustrated and upset and they had my dietitian call me and we worked out a new plan and its been working really good. Mine was mainly that i wasn't sleeping good and that can slow your weight loss down and i didn't even know that. Good luck and i hope that helps!

LAP-BAND Patients

I went to the doctor for another fill earlier this month. According to her scale I had lost 7 lbs but the scale at home said I hadn't so I was quite surprised. I was told to weigh once a week at work. I log my food everyday and I exercise 3-4 times a week for 1-2 hours each work out. I feel like I have finally hit my green zone though. I don't feel hungry anymore between meals and I can go forever without eating if I wanted but I don't do that because I know its not good for me. My doctor also told me to snack between meals and I have a hard time with that because I am not hungry and I have a hard time getting some food down because my band is a bit too tight but I am working through it.
