No Difference

I had my surgery Dec.21 of 2011. i have lost 20 pounds. I am very excitd about that and I 've had 3 fills. I'm at 6.5 cc's. I have never had any diffuclties at all. I can eat everything I want. I have not had any kind of discomfort, pain or anything. I seem to be stuck at this weight and cannot break it. I'm also having a hard time sticking to a strickt diet because I am able to eat everything. My other problem is I never know what to eat that is good for me. Does anybody have any advice or is able to eat without difficulties? I dont feel any restriction at all. Im going for my 4th fill and I will be at 7. HELP!

Haven't had any fills yet, get first fill in a couple of weeks. I can pretty much eat anything I want, but have been limiting the amount. I eat mostly protein and then maybe some kind of vegetable. Protein keeps you feeling fuller longer. Sometimes a greek yogurt for snack. If I eat too much I get an uncomfortable feeling and also start hiccuping. I've heard it sometimes takes several fills before you feel restriction.

I had my surgery in Nov. 2011. at 256 lbs. 5' 3'' Lost 15 lbs on post op diet then another 15lbs in the next two months. Have been this weight (226) for a month and a half. I also can eat whatever I want. The only time I have a problem is if I eat to fast and don't chew my food enough, then I tend to start hiccuping and sometimes vomit stuff back up. I am getting really frustrated with this whole process.

I was told you shouldn't eat want ever you want, that's part of the point of getting a lap band.. You should eat mostly protein, meat, beans, etc and veggies.. You might have small abouts of whole grains, but not to much.. general rule is to try and stay away from bread, pasta, rice, sugars..
