So tomorrow marks 4 weeks from the day I was banded. I have a morning appointment with my surgeon and, judging by what he said last time I saw him, I will probably get my first fill at that time. Sheesh, I hope that's what happens. I've been going a little crazy the last couple of weeks, and I'm hoping a fill will help to restore my sanity.

I realize that I'm unlikely to reach restriction on my first fill. I have an 11 cc band, and the surgeon says most of his patients reach restriction between 3 cc and 8 cc. He didn't mention how much he gives for a first fill, so I'm just praying he won't start with just 1 cc. I need some help here. I've been diligent about counting my calories and staying on target, but it's getting harder and harder. I'm able to eat anything and everything I try with no problems, and I definitely get hungry 2-3 hours after a meal, even one heavy on the protein. As far as I can tell, that should equal a fill, but what can I say? I'm paranoid. In case you hadn't noticed.

I'm sure I'll be posting after the appointment, so tune in tomorrow at the same bat time, same bat channel, for an update. FIngers crossed it will be a happy one. :)

You may be surprised on how you fill. I have only had 3 fills in the past 14 months. I did excellent after my first fill and it lasted for 6 months before I needed another fill. My surgeon added 5 cc's the first time but everyone is different, mine did it under fluro and made me drink that wonderful chalking stuff and watched it go through the band. I felt immediate restriction and it was kinda scary for me. I thought I had some restriction just from having the band but after my fill I realized how much I really had to chew my food. My second fill did not go as well, but this third fill I think has been the best and I wish I had done it sooner. I actually do not get hungry between meals. Good luck and I know you will do fine, and just remember if the fill doesn't take you to the green zone go back and get a little more.

How did it go? I get my first fill on Monday. My doctor does not use any numbing agents, so I am very anxious. I'm needle phobic, so that definitely doesn't help. Can you guys tell me what to expect? I've been watching video's, but I want to hear it from someone directly.

I was banded January 31st. Surgery was truly a piece of cake, well, maybe that's not a good reference, but you get the point. It was the easiest surgery I have ever had. I don't feel ANY restriction and can eat anything I want - which I hate!! I am so ready for a fill so I actually believe I am truly banded! LOL

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.

      Einarmige Banditen

Perish Regeln der Spielautomaten sind sehr einfach, und der niedrige Mindesteinsatz macht sie auch fur decease armsten Spieler zuganglich.
