Post-Op Day Two

Wow! What a difference a day makes! I feel good today. I slept well and the gas seems to be moving around. My incisions do not hurt at all and it is getting easier to get up and down. I still need to take it easy, but I feel like myself today! Hopefully I can get my protein in today. I was only able to get 1/2 a shake down yesterday.

Great to hear you are feeling better. I tried the protein shake too my second day ( they say in my post op to have 3 a day for the first week or so). There was no way I was getting more than 2/3 in of one only.

Hoping that it will get easier to get everything in but not too easy LOL.

Wow... good that you already get a protien drink! I have my surgery Monday and I don't start shakes till day 8. Just the clear liquids the first full week! So glad to hear you are feeling better!

Note to my independant self: Driving is not an option yet! I really wanted to go to get a pedi to kinda perk me up but hubby of course refused to drive me ( he was busy), so I was going to drive myself. Ha!! I could not get in the car without having help! So I just went back in and sat down on the couch and pouted. I am so used to doing everything for myself

lol, it is really hard to sit still. I thought that I was really great at chilling out and relaxing before the band but now that I cannot do much of anything, I realized that I really didn't relax all that much before.

The pedicure sounds like a great idea.
