I had to self pay so I didnt have to do one but I have heard you can get 'disqualified' if you lose too much weight! If you read thesweetspot blog by band_groupie at the beginning she takes you through the whole 6 month diet thing...her blog is hilarious and will answer a lot of questions for you, good luck!

Thanks, yes i have heard that you could get disqualfied if you lose too much as well. I have blue cross blue shield thru state of MD .. theyre pretty good, but they told me i need the 6month thing....however, thats not with them submitting information about my other health conditions due to my weight, hopefully ill get lucky and it will get pushed thru sooner than 6 months!! i cannot wait to start my NEW LIFE!!!!
