My insurance DOES cover Lap-band ....

oF Course im THRILLED about this !! I just got off the phone ! ive been making calls ALL morning ! So the first step is to see my new Primary care Dr . I see him on Saturday. This should be good ... When i called for the appt , HE .. the Dr himself answered the phone on his cell phone while driving in his car and told me to come in today !!! I would have but my better half is at work today so my appt is on Saturday !! YAY ! I already chose North shore Surgical , Dr. Gellman to do my surgery .They take my insurance , the have a decent web site with all the questions and answers i need and she was SUPER nice to me on the phone ! The staff there seems to be really cool so far and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that i get the surgery. I meet with the surgeon on june 6th !! Its already moving so fast !! im so happy ! Hopefully , it will all go smoothly and ill have everything i need to get this ball rolling !!!

One thing my insurance company would nt go into full detail of all the requirements i needed to get approved. she said my PCP " might have you see a cardiologist, or a few other things . Its up to your Dr " . Whats that suppose to mean ? I guess ill find out.
