Getting banded in 5 days

I get banded on the 4th of March, just 5 days away. Getting nervous and very anxious about it. I can't say I am looking forward to the procedure or recovery, but I am excited to stsart loosing weight again and maybe one day look close to how I did when I was in the military. I doubt I will be back to 5% body fat, ever, but at least a healthy no obese weight and look would be nice.,

I was banded on Feb 16 and I know EXACTLY how you feel. I was excited and nervous. It is really not bad at all. The first 3 days post op are when you feel the worst, but it gets much better very quickly. The worst part about my surgery was a little bit of shoulder pain that I felt in the first couple of days from the gas that they use during surgery. Good luck =) You will be fine!

I was banded February 16th, as the day got closer I started feeling the same way. The worst part of the surgery for me was the shoulder pain from the gas, do a lot of walking to get rid of it. I haven't had any problems and I have no regrets. Good luck to you, you'll be fine :D
