first timer

this is my first time blogging, I was banded 6-25-08. i have lost 190 pounds, my h1c is5.3, i am a rare case because I was 582lbs at the time of my sugery, walked with a cane and carried an oxygen pack with me, have high blood pressure, anixiet and depressions, most doc would not have done the procedure because i was to big, i spent 8hrs on the table, that my kidneys stared to fail,I woke up on a ventalator with a trec in my neck spent almost 1 month in the hospital. now this may sound like a nightmare but I have no regrets because, i no longer take my diabetic meds, i am more out going and socialable, to anyone who is thinking about this go for it will be worth in the long run
